Broccoli season

Broccoli is from the cruciferous family, like cabbage and cauliflower.  The Italians were the first to know broccoli, and the word eroccoli is Italian and means flowering top.  Therefore, it is believed that its original habitat is the Mediterranean basin.  Broccoli also has great benefits, reducing the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and the risk of death in general.  It also promotes healthy skin and hair, increases energy and reduces overall weight. It is used in boiled and fried foods, and has a delicious taste.

Cultivation of broccoli, this winter-loving cold-weather plant , succeeds in most types of lands, berefers silt lands. Broccoli needs warmth during the vegetative growth stage and a moderate atomosphere that tends to cool during the formation of heads and considered is more tolerant of high or low temperature than cauliflower.  It also withstands frost without causing noticeable damage to it, but the high temperature during the formation of the heads leads to leaves passing through, and this is a non-tempting trait and leads to the speed of its growth, which increases the chance of transgressing the basic growth stage that is suitable for consumption before harvest.
